Toys for Tots

The First National Bank of Long Island participated in this year's Toys for Tots Campaign that is conducted by the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) - Suffolk Chapter. On Friday, December 12, 2008, approximately twenty members of the United States Marine Corps Reserves from Amityville, New York descended upon the offices of Sheehan and Company CPA, PC in Brightwaters with a tractor trailer to collect new, unwrapped toys for needy children. A special thank you to Jane Reed, Vice President of Commercial Banking, John Reilly, Vice President of Commercial Lending and Rose Cartwright, Marketing Specialist for coordinating the program in the branches. And thank you to all our branches that helped to collect toys for this good cause!

Long Island Cares Food Drive

Congratulations to all the branches that participated in the Long Island Cares Food Drive. This year The First National Bank of Long Island collected 682 lbs. of food to help feed the children and families on Long Island.



Making Strides Against Breast Cancer ® Walk!

This year Team FNBLI raised $4,612 for Making Strides for Breast Cancer. The event was held on Sunday, October 21 at Jones Beach. Thank you to everyone who participated and/or donated to the special cause, walked, sponsored a walker or made a donation to the walk.



HIA Trade Show

On May 22nd The First National Bank of Long Island participated in the 20th Annual Hauppauge Industrial Association (HIA) Trade Show that was held at Suffolk County Community College.

The Visiting Nurse Services & Hospice of Suffolk County

On May 10th, Mary Sullivan and Milka Elbayar set up a table to promote the Bank at the Visiting Nurse Services and Hospice of Suffolk's 8th Annual Race to benefit the Bereavement Retreat for Children. The race course is a certified USATF Sanctioned Course which includes part of the historic Cow Harbor Course.

March of Dimes

March of Dimes

On April 27th, The First National Bank of Long Island participated in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica event in Eisenhower Park. Congratulations to The First National Bank of Long Island team who raised over $3,000.
