How to Avoid Domain Spoofing

Domain spoofing is a type of online fraud that involves the creation of a fake website that looks identical to a legitimate website in order to deceive users into providing sensitive information such as login credentials, credit card details, or other personal information. Customers and partners of companies involved in widely publicized events become favorite targets of malicious actors looking to take advantage of a company’s popularity.

To avoid domain spoofing, there are several steps you can take:
